Open Positions
In 2010 there are possibilities for a Bachelor thesis, a small internship
("Projektpraktikum / Miniforschung"), and a Diploma / Master thesis,
in the framework of galaxy evolution. Outlines of these projects can be
found at this
faculty webpage. You can also contact
Dr. T. Lisker for details. An overview of astronomy topics at the ARI
is also given
here.
Unfortunately, there are currently no open PhD positions available in our
group. Nevertheless, students who would like to do their PhD in any of the
Heidelberg astronomical institutes should consider applying to the
joint Heidelberg Graduate School of Fundamental Physics (HGSFP) and its
astronomy branch, the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS-HD).
